Welcome to St. John Vianney School, Spokane!
There is a beautiful song that our school choir sings. The chorus line goes: “Come home, to the Father that loves you, come home to the mother that prays.” When I first walked the halls of this school in the Spokane Valley, looking for a place for our kindergarten daughter and preschool sons I felt that call.
St. John’s was a place that felt like home.
Today, as principal, I am honored to serve the community that provided such a wonderful education to my children. Three of my grandchildren now attend St. John Vianney School. Here students learn about faith and how to have a relationship with God. They concentrate on academics so they can reach their highest potential. They practice service as an expression of both faith and good citizenship. Catholic school education is a legacy in our parish. A legacy I am happy to continue and hope to continue for many more years. (Dare I say for my great-great-great grandchildren?)
I hope that when you visit our school you will have the same feeling of home. Come home to St. John Vianney School - you are always welcome, you are always loved.
We look forward to getting to know your family. We are blessed to be a part of a wonderful community and hope you will feel that way too!
Welcome to Saint John Vianney Catholic School Website. Navigating this site you will find a school that offers a great deal to the members of our community.
After 41 years of ordination I still am privileged to be a part of a Parish Community with a Catholic School. Catholic Education has been part of my life since first grade. This Parish and School can be proud of the dedicated staff and families who continue to support Catholic Education. We work hard at strengthening our faith and providing for the development of the next generation of Catholics in a safe and life-giving environment.
You may discover that your gifts and talents will be welcomed and appreciated in fostering the ministry of Catholic Education in this portion of the Lord's vineyard.
