Educational Philosophy Mr. Hartley believes that as an educator you should meet the students where they are at, and then challenge and help them grow and advance their skills and abilities. He believes that we need to teach the whole child. Individual students are like a three legged stool. They are made up of intellect, body, and soul. If one of those legs is neglected, the stool will fall over. In Catholic schools we can nourish all three aspects of the individual. Knowledge is a wonderful, necessary tool. Faith is vital to giving knowledge and direction to help them understand and face the modern world.
